YMCA celebrates its "Survivor"

I just got word of this today:

The Fort Mill branch of the Upper Palmetto YMCA will celebrate its TV Survivor with a special SurYvor weekend Oct. 19 and 20. Fitness instructor Leslie Nease can currently be seen on this season's "Survivor: China" program on CBS. To get in the Survivor spirit and show their support for Nease, families are invited to participate in the SurYvor family challenge from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 19 and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 20. The two-day event will provide opportunities for area families to get to know each other while competing for prizes, including a 1-year family YMCA membership.

The cost ranges from $40 to $100, depending on family size, and include meals. All proceeds will benefit the Fort Mill/Gold Hill YMCA Strengthening Communities Scholarship Fund, which keeps YMCA programs and membership available to everyone. For more information, contact the Fort Mill YMCA at 803-548-8020.

So, go get fit, have fun and celebrate Leslie's success!
