Raise the cigarette tax???
Has the Herald ever met a tax it did not like or a tax cut it did not despise? Another step toward socialism, tax certain folks and give it to others! Try cutting State spending and lowering corporate and individual taxes in order to put more money in folk's pocket that would allow them to use personal responsibility to care for themselves. If the federal government's "Tax Rebate" is intended to jump start the economy why wouldn't cutting overall taxes stimulate the economy even further?
