I actually went and listened to the man.
He has some good ideas, some not so good ideas. What really, really turned me on was to sit in an audience that would have delighted Martin Luther King, Jr. There were white, black, young, old, in the middle, all sorts of people all there to listen and learn.
We were all Americans for that space in time and for that I say, thank you Barrack Hussain Obama. For the first time in over 8 years I was proud to be American.
