Found out Winthrop fans in Denver spent a part of Wednesday at the Coors brewery. Free samples, I hear. Wish I knew. I might have stopped in, Report on it, you know.

Met a lady last night named Michelle who remembered us from the drive to Spokane. She roots for Washington State but now says she roots for us. McCann said he isn't rooting for anything except me riding home with somebody else.

"You guys were all over the place!" she said about Spokane. "Everybody was talking about you."

Any Winthrop fans out here, send me an email so I can catch you at the game. We are at the arena now for the two early games, then Winthrop plays the third game at 7:20 your time.

Unscientific survey of people I talked to so far this morning has Winthrop coming up short today. I told all to get lost. I told one WSU fan to check out of the hotel early, save a few dollars. He was not amused.
