"Iron Man" is not just an incredible comic book movie, I'd say it stands up pretty well on its own. Robert Downey Jr. IS Tony Stark, period. And the rest of the cast backs him up admirably. The plot makes sense, the action is used well and looks great, and there are plenty of nods to comic readers and fans without pandering to them. Oh, and be sure to stick around all the way through the credits (ALL the way) for another surprise cameo/Easter egg for fans! |
