I have been experiencing muscle pain in my arms, legs, and back for sometime now and it makes it hard to do daily activities. I talked to my doctor and we ruled out arthritis, but I was watching Live 5 News in Charleston and they had a doctor on there talking about a disease called fibromyalgia. My symptoms seem to fit, and I am excited to try and seek treatment immediately! Does anyone know if there is a prescription I can take and if so, if I can get it over the counter? Thanks!

if you think you have fibromyalgia. I used to work for one a long time ago and they are doctors that treat fibromyalgia. The patients that have this disorder usually are on quite a few different medications. There weren't any medications that cured the disorder, but the doctor treats the symptoms (some people were on about 20 meds because of all the symptoms they had). I am not sure about over the counter meds that work for this disorder. It has been a long time since I worked in a medical office that treated this disorder so things may have changed by now.
