Chick-Fil-A's newest restaurant will open Thursday on S.C. 160 near Baxter Village in Fort Mill.
That means the line of soon-to-be customers is already wrapping around the building.
When a Chick-Fil-A opens its doors for the first time, the company gives away free chicken sandwich combos for a year to the first 100 customers. The Fort Mill location is no exception.
Patrons are allowed to line up as early as 24 hours in advance. A chicken-lovers camp was already forming Wednesday morning. I'll be heading out there to talk to the hopefuls who plan to spend a 20-degree night waiting for a year's worth of free chicken. Read about it in Thursday's Herald.
In the meantime, grab some blankets, a sack of sandwiches and a tent and get in line. A restaurant spokeswoman said the line will probably be full by midday Wednesday.

These people are, uhh, dedicated
