414 rushing yards, 529 overall against Ashbrook. That's close to 750 yards rushing in two games for Clover. Right now, that offense is in midseason form.
Five different players scored against Ashbrook, so it's not just one person getting the glory or inflicting the damage. Four of their six scoring plays went for 16 yards or more.
If the Blue Eagles can overcome their lapses on defense, it could be another 11-win season -- or better -- for them. I am sure the other region teams will have something to say about that.

2007 Chester Cyclones Football Team
I have followed Chester football closely for the past four years and anything less than an opportunity to play for the state title would be disappointing for this years group of seniors. Whitlock, McCaskill, Springs, Wright & Crank to name a few. The questions in the stands each week is why doesn't senior defensive back/runnig back Terrell Springs get more carries on offense? He is one of the fastest sprinters in the state since the eight grade. Many of the Chester fans are upset that this kid is not receiving the publicity that he deserves because of how he is being used by head coach Victor Floyd. This kid has some talent that could help take Chester Football to the next level if he is used properly. Many fans feel like we could have beat Blythewood-the defending state champions but the Cyclones were out coached for the second straight year. Floyd please play this kid more on offense and give yourself a chance to compete for the title this year. He's hands down the best running back on your team and possible in the state if giving the opportunity to prove it. He's proved he can be a shut down corner along with Whitlock the states best corner back/athlete. Go Cyclones-It's Our Time!!!
